About U2 Fan club "4Freedom" in Japan.
"4freedom" is the Japan's most well known and oldest U2 Fan club founded by
Japanese fans in 1983.
Since 1983, they published 68 fan magazines called "Out of Control".

I googled "4Freedom" one day and noticed that there's no info about this great fan club.
So I decided to write a quick note about them.
Although Universal Music Japan doesn't allow any fan operated club to call themselve as record company's official fan club anymore, "4Freedom" is known as Japan's the only official fan club for a long time (yes since 1983).
Currently they have this site http://www.geocities.co.jp/hollywood/9781/ for respective new members. The site is Japanese only.
